When completed, the New Jersey State Kitchen Bath & Remodeling Center will be the largest “one-stop shopping” center of its kind on the east coast, serving clients from the tri-state area and beyond. The building will be combined with the adjacent property located at 2 Newark Pompton Turnpike for a total of a 38,000 SF complex. The new building will feature a two-story open granite and marble atrium with elevator, grand circular staircase and second floor bridged balcony. Ample parking of a combined 150 spaces, as well as access to both Route 23 and local streets will be provided.
The Honorable Michael DeFrancisci, Mayor of Little Falls made this statement regarding the construction, “ This is one of the most anticipated projects Little Falls’ has seen in a long time. We certainly believe it will be a major boost to our township and our local economy.”
The project is being financed by Lakeland Bank, and the construction by Rehab Construction.
The construction is slated to be completed by the third quarter of 2009.
The new facility intends to house Direct Depot Kitchen Wholesalers, Inc., one of largest and most successful kitchen and bath cabinetry companies in the area, and other established companies occupying independent retail storefronts will likely include:
